Day One at DSEI

DSEI Blog BannerDSEI 2015 got off to a frenetic but fascinating start yesterday, with exhibitors keen to showcase their latest innovations and attendees excited to see industry developments. Now the first day is over, I thought I’d take the opportunity to reflect on all the exhibition has offered so far.

As expected, the day began slowly as those in attendance found their feet at the ExCel. But as it wore on, the Captec stand generated a lot of attention, especially around our rack integration capabilities for defence applications.

Interestingly, an increasing number of mobile racking solutions are being utilised as technology gets faster and smaller. We are excited to open discussions around how our ability to design and manufacture agile, deployable solutions, can align with the needs of the industry.

GD_TankBeing situated in close proximity to companies including General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, positioned us at the heart of the action. We were able to view their newest innovations firsthand, including the unveiling of a new tank. I even found a bit of time to test-drive a simulator, which wasn’t as easy as it looks, and resulted in a bout of dizziness!

All in all it was a busy, but rewarding, first day at DSEI. We expect, and welcome, more of the same over the course of the next three days. Don’t forget to visit us on stand S9-145, where we will be exhibiting our rack integration expertise as well our custom design capabilities.

If you are at DSEI this week, we would enjoy discussing our capabilities with you. There is still time, so please request a meeting with us at the show.
