We’re pleased to announce the appointments of several key members to our senior management team.
Following the appointment of Ed Prager as our new CEO, we have invested heavily in the recruitment of key positions to fuel growth and help ensure the needs of our customers are not only met, but exceeded.
Andy Morgan joins from Seagate Technology and has previously held a number of leadership roles in both product and project management. At Captec, he will become head of product management, with the existing team of Ian Langton, Trevor Staley, Jake MacWhirter, Steve Crocombe and Tim Williams, all reporting to Andy.
Lisa Read also joins us from Seagate Technology and will lead our HR department. Reporting into Ed, Lisa’s role outside of the day-to-day running of the HR function is to facilitate the significant investment in our general recruitment throughout the business to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans.
Jon Ashley joins from Cisco as Head of Marketing, bringing with him a wealth of marketing experience and knowledge spanning many years, to build, drive and accelerate activity through the marketing team.
Les Stevens joins from Seagate Technologies as the Head of Finance, having previously held the role of divisional Financial Director at Chesapeake Corporation.
These appointments follow the addition of Steve Grenyer as our new engineering manager, back in May of 2017. Steve joined from Xyratex and also sits within our senior executive team.
The strategic appointments all bring a wealth of valuable experience and ring an important milestone in our history, expanding our capabilities to support enterprise and large OEM computing applications, whatever the form factor. Additionally, whilst we continue to focus on organic growth, we are also looking to pursue major investment in mergers and acquisitions with an emphasis on North America and Canada to further our capabilities and redefine value around innovation.
As part of a new business model and with the support of our new executive appointments, the team will be leveraging their expertise to focus on four key platform areas: IoT, computer, tablet and rack, which can be made off-the-shelf, customised or bespoke depending on customer requirements.
