Strategic Partner Manager

An opening has arisen for a Strategic Partner Manager to develop our technology alliance partnerships with various OEM manufacturers / suppliers providing industrial grade products and solutions for our product portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in a field based business development, sales and account management as well as a product management role with proven experience in delivering a multimillion sales target. We are looking for an individual with experience in solution orientated selling of industrial compute platforms from a computing or technology related sales / product management background.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling industrial grade products and solutions into various vertical markets. Ideally they will need to have a baseline understanding of industrial compute and 19” Rack architectures.  Whilst the role is commercial and does not call for detailed technical depth, this is a desirable component, ideally including awareness of COTS+ industry and customer requirements.

This position calls for a candidate that has experience in developing technology and product alliances with industry leading manufacturers combined with the development of sales strategies, with innovative and enthusiastic contributions. This role requires the candidate to take on a mix of both vendor management and business development in order to manage the strategic partners as well as develop their sales pipeline and forecast to achieve the required sales targets and objectives.

There will be support from all areas of the company in order to help them provide the strategic partners and customers with the most effective and relevant information to support technical requirements. We will expect the successful candidate to immerse themselves in understanding our build and configure to order solutions capability, and be able to derive the benefits and features of our offerings in order to provide the most suitable solution to our customers, and persuade them of our value proposition.

Required Experience & Skillset:
  • Currently in an office based product management / sales role with field sales responsibility with a minimum of 5+ years track record.
  • Proven experience in delivering £1-2million+ sales target consistently year on year.
  • Consultative/solution orientated selling experience with customer base deploying industrial computing & industrial 19” Rack platforms.
  • Industrial B2B market sector experience with an industrial computing, electronics, IT/technology related background.
  • Ability to work with customers on a project basis with extensive design in’s and long sales cycles.
  • Well established and polished customer facing sales skills building long term relationships.
  • Commercially astute with a sound understanding of business processes, excellent organisational skills in the areas of time management and work scheduling/prioritisation.

Graduate Applications Engineer

An opening has arisen for a Graduate to join our rack integration Applications Engineering team providing technical services support to our sales organisation in winning rack integration business.

The role provides training and development opportunities to gain further technical breadth and depth to raise up the technical ladders. The role can also offer career progression opportunities into Product Management, Business Development or Sales. The role is ideal for a technical person who also enjoys interaction with sales and customers as well as getting involved in commercial aspects of winning business.

The role will also require the candidate to interface to multiple stakeholder teams in the business for the realisation of won rack integration opportunities. These will typically involve the purchasing team responsible for the procurement of the materials required, the production team for the integration of the rack, and any other associated services such as validation and verification, documentation, compliance, logistics as well as engineering teams for any custom design.

This is an important role in order to support the companies’ sales focus on driving and growing our existing rack integration business. Therefore the successful candidate will need to be eager and keen to take on new challenges and enjoy a dynamic work environment.

Required Experience & Skillset:
  • A good baseline technical background/knowledge/interest with a desire to learn and develop further – we are not expecting a finished article as this is a development role.
  • A base level understanding of 19” Rack architectures.
  • An awareness of mechanical structures, cable management, power distribution, environmental management and general IT & Comms payloads.
  • Some prior experience in technically specifying, configuring or supporting technical solutions.
  • The communications skills required to deliver persuasive technical propositions to customers – with training and practice.

An opening has arisen for a specialist Business Development Manager to develop targeted opportunities and win business for our expanding Industrial Computing and Rack Integration business units. The successful candidate will have a strong background in a field based business development, sales and account management role with proven experience in delivering a multimillion sales target.

We are looking for an individual with experience in solution orientated selling of industrial computers & 19” industrial racks from a computing, electronics or technology related background.

The candidate will need to be a self-starter who is able to manage their own time and prioritise effectively. They need to be able to embrace challenges, and strive to consistently improve their performance to hit their targets in an independent environment.

This position calls for a candidate that has experience in devising prospect and account development sales strategies, with innovative and enthusiastic contributions. They need to be experienced in targeting key accounts with the ability to grow, with a strategic plan in order to execute the activities needed to increase customer sales.

Project Manager
