The SEM-COM101 is a dual-port serial communication Scalable Expansion Module designed to extend the connectivity of the Cincoze MD-3000 embedded computer. Providing two configurable RS-232/422/485 interfaces with DB9 connectors and 5V/12V support, it enables communication with compatible industrial control equipment, measurement devices and other serial peripherals. Supporting baud rates up to 921.6 kbps, the module connects through a PCIe x4 interface and occupies a single Scalable Expansion Deck position, allowing serial connectivity to be incorporated into the MD-3000 modular computing architecture.

The SEM-COM101 provides two serial communication ports supporting RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 standards through DB9 connectors. With support for 5V/12V and baud rates up to 921.6 kbps, it enables compatible serial devices to connect to the MD-3000 system for industrial control, monitoring and equipment communication.
Connecting through a PCIe x4 interface, the SEM-COM101 occupies one position within a compatible Scalable Expansion Deck. This allows additional serial interfaces to be incorporated into the MD-3000 modular computing architecture alongside other supported I/O modules, subject to the available deck positions.
The SEM-COM101 features a tool-free, plug-and-play design for installation within compatible Cincoze expansion decks. Measuring 24.9 × 111.7 × 152.2 mm, it provides two additional DB9 serial interfaces within a compact single-slot module, supporting integration with industrial control equipment and automation systems.
