The SEM-SAT101 provides a single SATA 3.0 interface for installing a compatible 2.5-inch HDD or SSD. Supporting data transfer rates up to 6Gbps and drives with a maximum height of 20mm, it enables additional storage capacity through a compatible Scalable Expansion Deck.
The module supports hot swapping, allowing the installed HDD or SSD to be removed and replaced without shutting down the host system, subject to the system’s storage configuration. This provides an accessible drive arrangement for applications requiring removable storage.
The SEM-SAT101 occupies one storage expansion position and features a tool-free, plug-and-play design. Compatible with the SED-402 and SED-601 Scalable Expansion Decks, it provides an additional SATA drive bay within the manufacturer’s modular expansion architecture.
